String Festival

Each spring, the Needham Concert Society sponsors student festivals to give piano, string, and voice students an opportunity to perform in front of an audience of family, friends, and others. The recitals, which are free and open to the public, are also designed to foster community among students and their teachers. Student eligibility requirements

• Needham resident or student of a Needham teacher
• Age 18 or younger
• Permission from instructor
• Repertoire: one short piece or one movement for a solo string instrument or for string instrument and piano
• Time limit: 10 minutes

Date: Saturday, March 30, 2024  |  12:00 p.m.

• Performances will be grouped into a program of approximately 60–90 minutes in length.

Location: Carter Memorial United Methodist Church, 800 Highland Avenue, Needham MA

Registration fee: $25

Registration deadline:  March 16, 2024
